I was brought up in a house filled with music which must have rubbed off on me. I can remember whilst growing up, the radio being on every morning. This was the beginning of my love of music, and in my teenage years, my taste was a musical eyeopener.

I love all types of music from Punk to Funk, including classical music. My teenage years consisted of the tail end of punk (1977) and the beginning of my love for soul and disco music.

Soul Music had actually been instilled in me by my late fathers love of The Stylistics. I can remember playing music that I had recorded from my bedroom at the age of 13, practicing to be a DJ using a reel to reel, a microphone and a long wire with a speaker to my parents front room.

At the age of 18 I bought some equipment with some friends and became a mobile DJ. This was the start of my road trip as a DJ. This progressed into clubs and ended up with me being offered a position on Soul Groove Radio in 2009, and in 2018 I became a co-owner of the station.

My Show is on Sunday Mornings – ‘Soulful Sunday Breakfast’ – 9.00 – 10.00am where I usually play more mellowed tracks / Jazz Funk / classic tracks with the occasional new track thrown in for good measures.
