Kevin O'Brien

Kevin hails from Canvey Island in Essex but now broadcasts from his own studio in Scotland.

From the age of 13 he’s been a soul boy at heart. He moved from Essex at 17 he cut his teeth as a DJ in the South West of England. He then created his own mobile events, rapidly progressing to night clubs across the UK and Europe.

He plays Soul, Funk, Jazz, Jazz-funk, Latin Jazz, Soulful House,  Boogie,  Reggae in fact, anything that will tickle your rhythm buds.

He also has a real hunger for new music from right across our genre. He currently hosts The Early Early Morning Soulcial so why not join him from 6am weekday Mornings here on Soul Groove Radio.
