Mark Stuart

I was introduced to soul music in the mid 70’s to the sounds of Kool & the Gang, early Fatback, James Brown, War, Lonnie Liston Smith, Herbie Hancock and many more and have had a love affair with soul music ever since.

Through DJ’ing in the UK and overseas clubs, mobiles and radio I have grown up with, and been heavily influenced by, this great music. From its forms of pure soul, reggae, jazz, jazz-funk and funk it never ceases to amaze me, as it constantly re-invents itself.
