With over 40 years experience of spinning tunes to the public, initially residing from London’s East End.

I’ve been a collector of dance music since at least the tender age of 12, and regularly buying records from boot sales to Woolworths and then later from specialist record shops.

I started playing gigs properly whilst serving in the Royal Air Force in 1983, firstly in the Sergeant’s Mess, then progressed into the Officer’s Mess until I played regularly at Airman’s events and being a part of a DJ committee.

I had mixed a successful athletics career, competing at both club and international level whilst continuing my interest in Djing.

My athletics career came to an abrupt end due to a ruptured achilleas tendon injury, then I concentrated on music and multimedia.

I’ve also worked as a music salesman in both an Independent and mainstream record shop, and regularly DJing in venues up and down the country during the 90s.

Amongst my many gigs I have played at, my highlights have been selected to spin at Jazzin For Jamaica event held annually at the Union Chapel, Islington, London.  Whilst at University, was selected to play House music on a leg of the Cream University tour.

I was playing regular gigs within the City of Cambridge for the few years whilst I was in University, of my regular venues, included Po Na Na and other pubs.

I set up, Moovin & Groovin back in 1994, and played at the converted Jesus College Summer Ball (Cambridge University) whilst at University on the same billing as acts such as, the Scratch Perverts, Bentley Rhythm Ace & De La Soul.

During recent times (during COVID) I turned my hand to radio presenting.  I’m a real vinyl enthusiast with a wide musical taste, covering jazz, funk, soul, boogie, disco, electro, and would say I look out for old school obscurities.

I just enjoy sharing a cross section of feel good vibes to the listeners which forms the composition of my shows.
