It was 1983 when I discovered my passion for soul music, when most of my other friends were enjoying chart music.

A move abroad in 1984 took me to radio, I did a couple of voice drops for one of the DJ’s morning show. I was a frequent visitor to the station,
back then everything was on cassette cartridges (really giving my age
away now), it sparked a desire to be involved in radio.

After a year I moved back home and ended up on a totally different path.

It was only a few years ago I DJ’d a couple of gigs which then led me to
join Soul Central Radio for 3 years. And now here I am at Soul Groove
Radio.
