I grew up listening to the sounds of Soul, Reggae, Philly, Motown and
Trojan. In the late 70s and early 80s, I went out to nightclubs in and
around West London and the home counties as well as travelling to
Caister and the Goldmine.

Come the 90s, I became more interested in new styles of music such as Acid jazz, Latin, Balearic and of course Jazz.

Over the years I have been an avid listener to many Soul music stations with great DJs and shows, always thinking one day I  would love topresent a show.

Fast forward to the lockdown period, Myself and my son Jack purchased DJ decks and learnt how to use them and also how to  download tracks just for a bit of fun and as a hobby.

After lockdown, I was asked to guest DJ at a few venues, and as a  Rookie DJ, I loved it so much that I decided to set up my own event  called Soul by the Green.

In 2024 Soul Groove Radio asked me if I would like to join the station
and do a regular show. The show is on Tuesday Lunchtime 12-2 and
entitled ‘The Rhythm Club’.
