Got the bug for Soul going up to the north for soul weekenders at Southport back in the day and started DJing at parties and on pirate radio around Liverpool/Yorkshire soon after.

Have been involved in community radio locally and created the STAX OF SOUL SHOW after building up  a decent vinyl collection.
