when I was 14 in 1973 with my best mate Paul Wright, making our own sound system with a 12 valve amp and a homemade twin deck with Garrard SP25 Mk2 turntables with mixer faders.<\/span><\/p><p>Throughout my childhood and teens I collected music on vinyl, most of the Motown hits. My interest and collection included the likes of The Chi-L. Lites, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight &amp; The Pips, Boyz II Man and many more, my favourite band was and still is The Stylistics.<\/p><p>For three years I was the resident DJ and Sports News Presenter (on in house TV) at St Marys University Twickenham (1977-1980) with my bestman Pete Dando, when I got married in 1983.<\/p><p>My DJ career took me all around London Boroughs gigging at all types of venues for different occasions.
