school\u2026 a family friend was the DJ at the Caf\u00e9 Royal on Regents Street in Central London doing a monthly gig, I went along one evening and I was instantly hooked, and I have never looked back since, I bought my first FAL turntable &amp; played my first 7\u201d single of Earth Wind &amp; Fire&#8217;s \u2013 September playing at family &amp; friends parties &amp; then bought a Citronic Thames 2 turntable.<\/p><p>When I felt more confident entertaining large crowds I treated myself to a pair of Vestax PDT 5000 Turntables &amp; the music collection started to grow, I still enjoy spinning the tunes as much today as I did when I started all those years ago.<\/p><p>I\u2019ve been a VDJ for about 15 years years now and about the same time started working at Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square and the new venue on the Haymarket in Central London.<\/p><p>Also I had a nine year residency at Dover Street Jazz Wine Bar in Mayfair, working with some great Soul, Funk &amp; Jazz Funk tribute bands and played alongside 80\u2019s Soul Diva Jackie Graham.<\/p><p>Also worked in many venues in &amp; around London, also worked on a few Cruise Ships sailing up &amp; down the Adriatic ocean and around the med.<\/p><p>I&#8217;m new to Soul Groove Radio and hope you enjoy my shows.
